The Challenge

Dental A Team had strong demand and a clear position. It did not have the structure to match. The founder stayed in the middle of decisions, approvals, and problem-solving, so work flowed through one person instead of through accountable roles. There was no defined leadership team, processes differed across delivery and internal operations, and this was the first time the company had worked with an operator from outside the founding group. The momentum was real. The infrastructure was not.

What We Ran

Savvy embedded a fractional COO and integrator to build leadership capacity and durable systems. We stood up a formal leadership team with clear ownership, decision rights, and accountability, and coached those leaders to own outcomes rather than manage tasks. We standardized core processes across consulting delivery, built repeatable workflows, and added meeting structure and scorecards. We redesigned the founder role so escalations ran through accountable leaders, with clarity on what actually required the founder and what did not. All of it built structural capital: the processes and reporting that keep value in the company instead of in one head.

The Result

Over a twelve-month engagement, Dental A Team reached real operational maturity. A functioning leadership team now owns results and priorities. Daily founder dependency dropped across operations and client delivery, internal processes are standardized to support growth, and decisions move faster and clearer across departments. The founder regained the bandwidth to focus on strategy and long-term planning, and the business has the leadership capacity to take on expansion.
